Volunteer Opportunities
Nancy's
House could not function without a fine group of volunteers. In both
client assistance and administrative and fundraising activities, they
are crucial to our success by keeping our operating costs low. Just as
important, they are priceless ambassadors for our agency within the
communities we serve.
Of
course, they do more than help Nancy's House and its clients -- they
achieve personal satisfaction by knowing that they have played a role in
the battle against AIDS and HIV.
Client
assistance is often as simple as driving a client to a doctor visit,
doing some basic shopping or helping with child care. Administrative and
fundraising assistance could mean stuffing envelopes, mowing the grass,
entering data or staffing a booth at a street fair. Qualified
volunteers may even undergo training for certification as AIDS
educators.

Transportation Support
Provide transportation services for clients to hospitals or medical appointments.
Practical Support
Provide services to assist with day-to-day needs of those with HIV/AIDS.
Organizational Services
Office Support
Assist in general office needs and fund-raising.
Community Outreach
Help to educate the community on HIV/AIDS.
